Our team of warm and caring professionals, many of whom have worked with Dr. Rubino for more than a decade, have delivered outstanding, personalized dental care to generations of Virginia families.

Dr. Richard Rubino D.D.S.

Dr. Richard P. Rubino received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree at the Medical College of Virginia (VCU) in Richmond. He also completed a one-year Hospital Dental Residency in Norfolk, Virginia and received a certificate in Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD). He has a Master of Education degree in Counseling and a Bachelors degree in Psychology from the University of Virginia. Dr. Rubino maintains on-going continuing dental education in all phases of family and cosmetic care in order to stay current with the latest advances in dentistry.

Dr. Rubino utilizes his educational background and clinical expertise in the scientific, technical and creative aspects of dentistry to help patients to overcome their anxieties about going to the dentist. He has taken great care to create a relaxing environment in which patients feel comfortable. Patients know they can address questions or concerns at any time in our patient-centered office.

Meet Our Staff

Our exceptional, friendly staff is our greatest asset. We love what we do, and it shows on our faces and in our attitudes. Every member of our staff has years of experience in family dentistry, and many of us have worked at Rubino Dental for ten years or more.

Our office manager and receptionist provide the highest level of respectful service to our patients. All our dental hygienists are licensed by the State of Virginia and maintain yearly continuing education on the latest medical advances and techniques. Our skilled and caring clinical assistants work alongside Dr. Rubino to assure that your treatments run smoothly, efficiently and stress-free.

Claudia - Office Manager
Claudia has worked with Dr. Rubino since 1981 She is knowledgeable in all aspects of dentistry, from administrative to clinical. Claudia traveled the world when she was growing up with her Foreign Service father, but considers herself a Sterling native since all of her grown children were born here. She received a degree in social work from George Mason University, which shows in the high level of personal care that she gives to all of our patients. Claudia loves family, music, art and travel.

Leslie - Registered Hygienist (RDH)
Leslie has been full or part-time with Dr. Rubino since 1981, while raising her children. Leslie is a long time Loudoun resident, and is a native Northern Virginian. She received her RDH in Florida and attends continuing education courses with Dr. Rubino. All of Leslie’s family lives in the Sterling area, and so she loves having them together. She also enjoys traveling to the beach when she can.

Linda - Registered Hygienist (RDH)
Linda has been with our office full-time since 1994. She and her husband are long time Loudoun residents, along with their grown children. Linda received her RDH from Temple University in Philadelphia. She attends continuing education classes with Dr. Rubino. Linda loves to cook for her family and to take the family dog on long walks.

Jana Clinical Assistant
Jana has been with our practice since 2001 and oversees the clinical functions of the office. She makes patients comfortable with her gentle care and knowledge of all dental procedures.. She and her husband live in western Loudoun. She loves to cook and frequently provides the staff with baked goods!
